We would like to inform our loyal customers that Restaurante Masena is closed for one week from Tuesday 24 November to Wednesday 2 December for essential maintenance. We are sorry if this causes inconvenience to our regular guests, but you can be sure we will make up for it with new flavours for you to come back to!
And of course, we will be well and truly ready to celebrate the Christmas season. It’s going to be very different this year, due to the ongoing situation with Covid-19, but we will do our best to get all our diners and staff into the spirit of the season. This year has made us appreciate the things in life that really matter – like friendship, good food, good company and nice surroundings.
Life is precious, and not to be taken for granted, so the best thing we can do in these challenging times is to live every moment of every day, and do the things that make us happy. We may be restricted with where we can go and who we can meet up with, so there will be no big family gatherings this Christmas. However, we can still make good memories, and we love to help you do that here at Masena.
Our menu is based mainly on seasonal foods – because that is when the flavour is at it’s best for you to enjoy. We will be introducing some new special dishes for the Christmas season, but we also have some regular menu items that are ideal for celebrations, or just when you feel like spoiling yourself, and your taste buds!
We can recommend Chateaubriand steak, cooked on the hot stone, for a romantic dinner for two. Or there’s our special cochinillo – suckling pig – just made for celebrations. If you like rice you’ll love our rice with lobster. It’s a great dish for sharing with the family or friends, and it has that little touch of luxury we all need at times.
If you are looking to enjoy one of these special dishes, we recommend you order it a day or two ahead of time, to ensure you are not disappointed. And if any of your party have any particular likes or dislikes, let us know about that, so we can make sure every detail of your special meal is perfect for you.
The reason Restaurante Masena has so many regular, returning customers is because we want everything to be just right for them, every time they visit us. And at this special time of year, after months of challenges we’ve all faced for perhaps the first time in our lives, we are particularly keen to make sure everyone who dines with us has a wonderful time. For us, dining out is not just about the food – it’s a total, shared experience, with the right level of service, a relaxing ambience and yes, the best food and wine for you to enjoy.
